Industrial Polymers LLC (IP), headquartered in Garden Grove, California, is the culmination of the entire history of concrete coatings. Mark Glendrange, who founded IP, began his career in the industry doing research for Mer-Kote Products in 1982. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he continued as a chemist at Mer-Kote, being mentored by his pioneering chemist father, Ted Glendrange, known for his contributions in waterproofing and specialized coatings. Mark’s technical scope included cement, latex, epoxy and urethane chemistries. Unique in his training was field application of product to ensure user-friendliness without sacrificing performance beyond industry standards.
